Ample'tudes - Steve Doc Purcell

Steve Purcell has hit a homerun with Ample'tudes.  From the first roar of solid cranked guitar in Hammer Down to the acoustic swing sounds of Bits & Pieces, Steve takes us on a six string journey.  Steve has surrounded himself with a number of amazing players in order to make Ample'tudes a guitar project you need to have in your collection.  Joining Steve on the project are:

  • Dave Gant (Garth Brooks)

  • Ron Keel (Steeler, KEEL, Black Sabbath)

  • Eugene Moles (Buck Owens)

  • Zach Ballard (Jasmine Cain, Tony Harnell)

  • Ronnie Lutrick (Johnny Hiland, Del Reeves)

  • Evan Christopher (Circle ll Circle)

  • Randy Kohrs (John Fogerty)

The Georgia thunderbolts (self titled)

The Georgia Thunderbolts are one of the hottest up and coming south rock influenced bands.  For a number of years they have been sharing the stage with groups like the Kentucky Headhunters, Black Stone Cherry and Blackberry Smoke.  Their debut EP (self titled) is a combination of great musicianship, clear passion and the talent to keep them around for a long time.  Guitarist Riley Couzzourt and Logan Tolbert have shown to be great guitarist.  That together are like the guitar slinging dynamic duo.  They are definitely players you want to keep an eye on.   Great project, great band!                             by: Jimmy Warren

Bernie Chiaravalle     Maybe One Day

I really believe Bernie Chiaravalle wrote, produced and performed a masterful album with "Maybe One Day."  Bernie is an amazing guitarist but his talents go so much further.  One of the things I loved about this project was how it drew me in.  Each song was tastefully constructed and performed to perfection.  I will admit his guitar playing on Promise of Love was was my favorite.  The tone was solid and each guitar park was full of emotion.  In my opinion "Maybe One Day" is a great album that guitar players should own.                                                    by: Jimmy Warren

Lee Ritenour     Dreamcatcher

After 45 albums Lee Ritenour has released his very first 100% solo project.  As one of the world greatest guitarist, Lee uses the guitar to express life in a powerful and passionate way.   Dream Catcher is Lee's response to difficult times and his way of dealing with devastating wildfires and the losses of Covid 19.   The playing on Dream Catch is just what you would expect from Lee, "Perfect!"         by: Jimmy Warren
